KUCHING, Oct 2: Sarawak Tropical Peat Research Institute (Tropi) and the University of Tartu (UT) Estonia in collaboration with Malaysia Peat Society (MPS) will be organising Living Labs for Wetland Research (LiWeFoR) Seminar 2024.

LiWeFoR is part of a global network of Living Labs dedicated to wetland forest research, education and management.

According to a press release, this seminar is an integral part of a field campaign focusing on tropical wetland forest regions in Peru and Malaysia.

It provides a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange, skills development and hands-on training, with a particular focus on identifying and addressing greenhouse gas emission hotspots.

Tropi invites researchers, scientists, academics, graduate students and policy makers to participate in this LiWeFoR seminar.
