KUCHING, Aug 24: The 21st Malaysia Games (Sukma) 2024 lucky draw event, which includes a grand prize of a luxury car, represents the Sarawak government’s support for the State’s sports community, according to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) director Samuel Simon.

“This is one of the strategies by the organisers to encourage public support for Sukma 2024, with the grand prize being a Perodua Aruz, which has garnered significant attention,” he said.

The Ukas director made these remarks when speaking to reporters after presenting the grand prize of the lucky draw at the ‘Majlis Penyerahan Kereta Perodua Aruz kepada Pemenang Hadiah Utama Cabutan Bertuah Sempena Majlis Perasmian Sukma XXI Sarawak 2024’ held today at the Perodua Service Centre Vendoria on Jalan Datuk Amar Kalong Ningkan here.
