“Our Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has also helped in our cost of living and cost of doing business, by extending the electricity discount for six more months till end of June”, he said in a statement today.

He added with the extra revenue, the Premier can also extend further assistance to those in needs such as reduction of house assessment, land quit rent, water rates and cash handout for the needy.

Yesterday (Feb 2), Abang Johari announced Sarawak’s actual revenue performance for the financial year 2022 has surpassed its projected revenue by 17 per cent from RM10.2 billion to RM11.9 billion.
