KUCHING, March 1: The 21st Malaysian Games (Sukma) will be officially launched at Pullman Hotel here on March 9 at 3pm.
Sarawak Minister of Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED) Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the Federal Minister of Youth and Sports Hannah Yeoh and all state excos are expected to attend the launching ceremony.
He told this to the media during a press conference held at Baitul Makmur II here today.
Later, a media officer under Abdul Karim’s ministry informed the media that the upcoming launching ceremony would involve the unveiling of Sukma 2024’s official logo, mascot and song.
Based on previous reports, Sarawak will host the upcoming 21st Sukma, also known as Sukma 2024, from Aug 17 to 24.
The event will feature 37 events scheduled to take place in various divisions in the State, namely Kuching, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Serian, Betong, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu, and Miri. — DayakDaily
