Student loses RM520 after getting threatened at knife-point


MIRI, Sept 24: A private university student experienced a moment of terror on Thursday night when he was threatened by two unknown men armed with a knife and riding a motorcycle.

In the incident which reported occurred around 11.30pm on Thursday (Sept 20), the suspects had approached and threatened the victim who was walking alone at Jalan Pekasa, Senadin with a knife, demanding his valuables.

Fearing for his safety, the victim surrendered his bag which contained cash amounting at RM520 besides from other essential documents.


The two men then fled, leaving the student unharmed.

No arrest has been made as police are still investigating. — DayakDaily
