KUCHING, Feb 12: Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for Miri.
Anticipated weather conditions include thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting Beluru, Miri and Marudi. The warning, issued at 2.30pm today, remains in effect until 5pm.
A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity greater than 20 mm/hour that is approaching or expected to last for more than an hour.
