KUCHING, Sept 2: The delivery of a steel frame structure for one of Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd’s (Sarawak Metro) Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) stations will be carried out on Sept 4, starting at 8pm, and is expected to complete by 4am on Sept 5, along the route from Jalan Stephen Yong to ‘The NorthBank’.

Sarawak Metro, in a notice, said the nine-hour overnight operation will involve the transportation of steel frame structures for a pedestrian bridge to the Stutong Station SM07 site, located near Tealive at ‘The NorthBank’ area.

The delivery route will cover Jalan Stephen Yong, Jalan BDC, and Jalan Stutong.

“Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the areas listed above. Please adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limit, to ensure the safety of road users and construction workers,” the company stated.

Sarawak Metro assured that it will duly notify the public of any changes regarding the delivery schedule.
