KUCHING, Feb 13: A Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) will be extended statewide from Feb 15 until March 1, 2021.
According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) secretariat in a press statement today, the standard operating procedure (SOP) for the CMCO can be obtained at the National Security Council (MKN) website.
“With the implementation of the CMCO, any movement between zones in the state are not allowed unless with a permit obtained from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
“Apart from that, economic activity in the red zones, such as farmers market, night market, as well as night bazaar are also not allowed to operate,” it said.
SDMC added the CMCO implementation will start at 12.01 am (on Feb 15) until 11.59 pm (March 1). — DayakDaily
