St Andrews Church upgrading works to be completed in Feb 2022

KUCHING, Aug 26: The RM150,000 upgrading works for St Andrews Church in Serian are expected to be completed by Feb 2022.

According to a news report (Aug 25) from Sarawak Public Communication Unit, Assistant Agriculture Native Land and Regional Development Minister Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn said when completed, it will benefit the residents in the surrounding areas.

“The upgrading project, which is under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) allocation, will start its construction works on Friday (Aug 27, 2021),” he said when witnessing the handing over of the project site, last Tuesday (Aug 24).

Sagah, who is also Tarat assemblyman, reminded the church committee to report any issues or dissatisfaction related to the project to the Public Works Department (JKR) in Serian division. — DayakDaily
