“We are committed to challenging our students beyond the classroom, encouraging them to
think critically, innovate boldly, and deliver solutions that can have a tangible impact,” said
Swinburne Sarawak FECS Dean Ir Professor Su Hieng Tiong.
The collaboration between SOCOE and Swinburne Sarawak continued a series of ongoing partnerships aligned with the state’s Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly its goal of developing a skilled and future-proof workforce.
This partnership also followed several initiatives by Swinburne Sarawak to enrich the learning experience via direct exposure to the latest technologies, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered systems, and professional best practices, ensuring industry readiness in a fast-paced and highly competitive work environment.
With this partnership, SOCOE reaffirms its commitment to innovation, talent development, and building a generation ready for the world beyond the classroom. – DayakDaily
