BAU, May 1: Siniawan Heritage Town will play host to the ‘Art & Folklore Music Festival’ from May 20 to 22.
According to Serembu assemblyman Miro Simuh, several exciting activities are being lined up for the three-day event to help promote the town and local arts, crafts, and culture.
The activities include workshops for art and beads, a colouring contest, and a blowpipe competition.
“For this three-day programme, we are expecting more than 4,000 visitors to flock to Siniawan Heritage Town.
“This particular event will help generate income for the locals,” Miro said during a press conference last night (April 30) at Ayak Gallery in Siniawan Heritage Town.
Miro also said a band from Sabah would perform at the event on May 20 and 21.
