KUCHING, July 28: Sarawak-born Malaysian singers Dayang Nurfaizah and Hafiz Suip will make an appearance at the Decorated Floats Parade Concert in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of Sarawak’s Independence celebration at Kuching Waterfront tomorrow night (July 29).
Apart from the two national stars, the concert will also feature performances from local artistes namely Ahmady Mohd Spuan, Yadee Romani, Gabriel Fairuz Louis, Raquel Then, Charlyn Daring and Valerie Thiam.
The concert is part of the activities organised for the parade including jet ski performances, ‘perahu tambang’ parade and decorated boat competition.
Entry is free.
The parade was co-organised by Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS) and Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (MTCP) through Sarawak Arts Council (SAC). — DayakDaily
