Singapore’s Changi Airport recommends Sibu in 2023 travel bucket list

KUCHING, April 12: Singapore’s Changi International Airport has recommended Sibu in its 2023 travel bucket list.

Its online travel magazine Now Boarding by Changi Airport in an article titled “2023 travel bucket list: 10 new destinations to visit this year” recommended Sibu as a destination to visit in Malaysia this year under the ‘Asia’ category.

Article author Rainer Cheung placed the Tua Pek Kong Temple and the Goddess of Mercy Pagoda at the top of the list of places to visit in Sibu, followed by Sibu Central Market.


Cheung also highlighted Sibu’s iconic Kampua Mee as a must-try, recommending Best Harvest Cafe as the place to sample the best example of this dish.

Other Asian destinations mentioned in the bucket list include Punakha in Bhutan as well as Jeju and Busan in South Korea.

In the southern hemisphere, Noumea in New Caledonia and Nadi in Fiji are recommended.

In the Middle East, Bahrain and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia were chosen while Addis Ababa in Ethiopia on the continent of Africa also made the list.

Vancouver, Canada was the sole destination in the West category. — DayakDaily
