SIBU, July 24: Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) will conduct replacement works on the existing expansion joint at Sungai Loba Satubah Bridge along Sibu/Bawang Assan/Seredeng Road from July 25 to 27.
According to a notice today, Sarawak JKR said road users would have to use the alternative road provided from 8pm to 4am throughout the works period.
Additionally, the Sungai Paradom Bridge along Tanjung Genting Road will also undergo replacement works from July 28 to 30, with the diversion route available from 8pm to 4am.
“Road users are urged to be careful when driving on the said roads during the construction period and to obey all traffic instructions for the safety of all road users until the works are completed.
“JKR Sibu Division will inform the public from time to time should there be any changes in dates or areas affected involved.
“Road users are also advised to plan their journeys if they need to travel to the area. All inconvenience is deeply regretted,” the notice stated.
