KUCHING, March 31: A man has been detained for assaulting his wife at Taman Duranda Emas in Siburan on March 30.
According to a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 9.37pm and firefighters from the Siburan station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the 39-year-old victim, who was conscious, appeared to have sustained wounds and bruises on her face, as well as on other parts, which she said were the results of her husband’s abuse.
Her husband was detained by two police officers who were at the scene.
The Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team tended to the victim before sending her to Serian Hospital. — DayakDaily
