SIBU, Aug 10: Sibu town will experience low water pressure, with some areas expected to experience water supply interruption from 10pm onwards on August 16 (Wednesday).
In a statement today, the Sibu Water Board (SWB) said this was due to a replacement of the electromagnetic flow meter at the raw water intake station in Jalan Kong Yit Khim.

“Work is expected to last between four and six hours. We will, however, complete the work as soon as possible and restore the water supply in stages,” it said.
In the event of bad weather, the meter replacement work will take place the next day (Aug 17).
