SIBU, March 15: An unidentified man was killed in a hit-and-run accident at Jalan Oya Lorong 31 late last night.
Sibu district police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said the victim was crossing the road at about 11.35pm when he was hit by an unknown car.
He died of serious head injuries at the scene.
“The victim is in his 30s. It is believed that he is a homeless individual,” he said.
