SIBU, May 24: Sibu Hospital is opening a Covid-19 vaccination registration counter for its Specialist Clinic outpatients aged 18 and above on May 27 from 8am to 12noon and from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Its deputy director, Dr Rachel Ting in a statement today said the registration is however strictly for patients doing follow-up treatment at the said clinic only.

“Intended patients are advised to bring their identity card and yellow appointment card to Counter Number 34 for registration purposes,” she said.

The vaccination exercise has been rescheduled from May 28 to May 29 due to a delay in the delivery of the vaccine.

Dr Ting said those who registered but did not turn up up to one hour after the given time slot will see their turn automatically canceled and the slot given to other patients.

“For those vaccinees who have already received their slot for vaccination under Sibu Hospital, kindly come to Counter 34 for registration one hour ahead of your appointment time. Bring along your IC and a black-ink pen to fill up the consent form upon arrival,” she said.

In order to avoid crowding, the hospital does not advise family members to escort the person getting the vaccination except for those who are wheelchair dependent.

It is also compulsory to wear face masks at all time upon entering Sibu Hospital. — DayakDaily
