Oct 18, KUCHING: Dudong Primary School (SK Dudong) in Sibu will be one of 44 new schools to be built in 2025.
Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim announced this during tabling of the National Budget 2025 broadcast live on TVS today in Parliament today.
Other schools listed include Bandar Putra Indah Primary School in Johor, Lok Kawi Secondary School in Sabah, and Semeling Secondary School in Kedah.
Additionally, Anwar revealed that over RM100 million has been allocated to implement the Fixed Line Broadband Infrastructure Connectivity in rural schools.
According to Budget 2025, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has been allocated RM64.1 billion, compared to RM58.7 billion the previous year, marking the highest allocation in history. — DayakDaily
