KUCHING, April 15: A pre-dawn fire broke out at the SMK Sungai Tapang hall here this morning due to a short circuit.
According to a spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 4.52am and firefighters from the Batu Lintang station were deployed.

“Upon arrival, the operations commander noted that the ceiling hall, which was undergoing repair work, was on fire.
“It was also reported that a fire had broke out at the same location yesterday (Apr 14) at 2.33pm,” said the spokesperson.
After ensuring safety and confirming no signs of reignition, the team returned to the station. — DayakDaily
