MIRI,October 11: A 22-year-old woman though she heard rats scurrying around inside a drawer in her bedroom on Tuesday. Worried, she asked her father to check.
However, when her father opened the drawer, he was met with the sight of a one-metre-long cobra, coiled inside.
Shocked by the discovery, they immediately called up the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for assistance.
A team of three APM personnel were mobilised to the scene in Lambir, after receiving the distress call around 7.34pm.
They managed to catch the reptile in less than 15 minutes. — DayakDaily
