ASAJAYA, Nov 25: A traditional shed used as a coconut dryer was destroyed in an afternoon fire today.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre in a statement said the 1.38pm incident occurred at Jalan Kampung Serpan Laut.
Seven firefighters led by Asajaya station chief PBT Mosli Salim mobilised two of its vehicles to the scene.
It was reported that upon their arrival, the fire has destroyed 95 percent of the non-permanent 20 x 60 sq shed.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated. -DayakDaily
