BAU, Sept 15: The Siniawan Waterfront project has been severely delayed, with work progressing at a sluggish pace, according to Serumbu assemblyman Miro Simuh.
Expressing his dissatisfaction with the project’s progress, which comes with a price tag of RM10.8 million, Miro highlighted that despite numerous meetings with relevant agencies and requests for expedited work, the project remains significantly behind schedule.
He revealed that the project, awarded in November 2020, was originally intended to be completed within 18 months.
Miro emphasized the sluggish pace of the project and noted that he had even taken Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian to inspect the site seven months ago during the Chap Goh Mei celebration to observe the project’s condition.
However, minimal progress has been made since then.
