MUKAH, Nov 11: Senior citizen Bri Langer, 77, is feared drowned after he fell into a river at Kampung Medong Seberang Dalat this morning.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre said they received the report from Dalat district police at 10am.
Following the report, Mukah fire firefighters led by PBK II Nasir Drahman were dispatched to the scene.
Search and rescue (SAR) operations were immediately mounted together with the police, civil defense, Rela and some 30 villagers on 10 boats.
Two members of the public also assisted in the search with two jet ski. – DayakDaily
