KUCHING, Apr 15: Senator Abun Sui Anyit has secured his position as the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Hulu Rajang branch chief, winning the recent party election held on April 13, 2025.
He garnered 316 votes, successfully defending his position and defeating his challenger, Wing Miku, who received 264 votes.
Despite the narrow 52-vote majority, the election process was conducted smoothly without any untoward incidents.
In his post-election remarks, Abun Sui thanked the members for their trust and called on all party members to unite in strengthening the party at all levels, emphasising the importance of unity and collective effort in preparing for the upcoming 13th Sarawak State Election.
He also highlighted the need for all planned initiatives to be successfully implemented to ensure the party’s sustainability and to secure a prosperous future for current and future generations. –DayakDaily
