Senari Synergy commemorates first batch of Permata Synergy children completing term

KUCHING, March 20: Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd has reached out to its four adopted children under the Permata Synergy programme, who completed their six-year term with the programme last Friday (March 17).

According to a press release, Permata Synergy was launched on July 29, 2016 with the goal of providing financial assistance to eligible underprivileged children aged six to 12.

“Since its launching, Senari Synergy has adopted 12 children of various family backgrounds.

“The relief is provided through monthly allowances of RM150 per child as well as school uniforms and stationery through the ‘Back to School’ programme, which is held every year during the school holidays before the following school semester.

“The Permata Synergy programme was also extended to the orphaned children of Senari Synergy staff who passed away during their service with the company,” it stated.

Meanwhile, Senari Synergy group managing director Jefri Ahmad Tambi in the press release said: “For the next school semester, we have identified several more children from nearby residential areas to be adopted to our Permata Synergy programme.

“Through this programme, we will ensure they receive assistance with priority given to their education.”

All four children who started secondary school this week were given school supplies and financial aid to ease their transition into the new environment. — DayakDaily
