Selangau market to close for sanitisation starting May 3

SIBU, May 2: The Selangau market will be closed for five days from May 3 after a hawker tested positive for Covid-19.

Sibu Rural District Council chairman Sempurai Petrus Ngelai said the council will carry out sanitisation of the premises during the closure.

“SRDC seeks for the understanding and cooperation from the public and hawkers in particular. We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” he said. — DayakDaily
