Security guard robbed by six men at knifepoint

MIRI, Oct 2: A 39-year-old security guard was robbed at knifepoint by six unknown men wearing full tinted visor helmets, at the roadside nearby Tudan Phase 6 on Sunday night (Sept 30).

According to sources, before the incident, the victim was riding on a motorcycle alone heading home from work when he was approached and intercepted by the suspects at around 10.30pm.

Two of the men threatened the victim with knives and demanded money.

Fearing for his safety, the victim handed over his wallet, which contained his personal documents and also cash amounting to RM15.

The suspects removed the victim motorcycle’s key and fled the scene together with it, leaving the victim unharmed.

A police report has been lodged. As at press time, an arrest has yet to be made as police are still investigating. — DayakDaily
