MIRI, Oct 2: A couple from Sungai Bidut, Sibu was left heartbroken after their four-wheel-drive (4WD) was stolen while it was parked near Jalan Bintang here.
The vehicle was first noticed missing from where it was earlier located in a parking lot on Sunday (Sept 30) around 9am.
According to sources, the couple in their late 30’s arrived earlier from Sibu on Saturday night (Sept 29) around 8.30pm and they stayed the night at a hotel near Jalan Bintang here.
The couple had initially planned the trip to Miri for sightseeing and shopping.
The loss was estimated at around RM130,000. A police report has been lodged. — DayakDaily
