Security company’s employee claims trial to CBT

KUCHING, July 16: An employee of a security company claimed trial to criminal breach of trust of RM4,600 in the Sessions Court today.

Muhamad Amirul Naim Hasli Muhamad Amirul, as a cashier at the Cash Processing Centre Office of Safeguards G4S Sdn Bhd, allegedly committed CBT amounting to RM4,600 belonging to the company.


He pleaded not guilty to the charge framed under Section 408 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of between 1 year and 14 years and with whipping and liable to fine, upon conviction.

Sessions Court judge Mohd Taufik Mohd Yusoff allowed him to be released on a court bail of RM5,000 and with two local sureties.

Mohd Taufik also fixed August 17 for the next mention date.

Deputy public prosecutor Nadratun Naim Mohd Saidi prosecuted while the accused is unrepresented.-DayakDaily
