MIRI, April 30: On Monday morning (April 29), a housewife from Tudan Phase 5 was rushed to a nearby clinic for a check-up, after a cobra spewed its venom onto her face inside a bathroom in her house.

She received outpatient treatment following the 8am incident that morning.

However, nearly seven hours after the encounter, two more unwanted serpentine visitors were found in the same bathroom.

The two cobras were trapped inside a net which had been placed there earlier as a precautionary measure by the housewife’s 33 year-old husband.

Upon discovery, the husband swiftly called the authorities.

A team from Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) was immediately mobilised to the location after receiving the alert at 5.51pm. The two cobras were caught and removed from the premises. — DayakDaily
