Search continues for missing woman from Kampung Tabut

The K9 unit managed to find the footprints of the missing victim.

KUCHING, JULY 24: The search for the 50-year-old woman who was reported missing from Kampung Tabut, Skrang, Betong entered its second day on Friday.

The victim was reported to be missing on July 22 after the victim went out to her farm located on the opposite side of the river.

Search and Rescue (SAR) had been deployed and Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA) had also sent out its K9 unit in search of the victim. SAR was divided into three teams for the search for the victim.

The victim’s footprints were found by the K9 unit 1.5 kilometers away from the Bomba post and the team had widened the search area by 200 meters but still failed to locate the missing victim.

The search is still ongoing.—DayakDaily
