SCV to reopen its doors July 1

SCV announcement on Facebook that it will resume operations on July 1.

KUCHING, June 30: Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) after more than three months being closed due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) will open and resume operations starting tomorrow.

In an announcement on Facebook, SCV said the village operation will be from 9 am until 5 pm starting tomorrow.

“In line with the Federal Government’s announcement on 7 June 2020, we are pleased to resume operations Wednesday, 1 July 2020 ,” said SCV on their Facebook page.

They will also be resuming business operations as per Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and guidelines set out.

These include temperature screening at entry , social distancing of one meter, wearing face masks, and usage of hand sanitizer by visitors and employees.

On June 7, 2020, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) from June 10 until August 31, 2020.

As there would be no more restriction for people to cross states during RMCO, domestic tourism activities were to be allowed.—DayakDaily
