KUCHING, May 16: A popular coffeeshop in Sarikei, famous for its “roti kahwin bakar” (charcoal-toasted bread) and coffee, has been ordered to close for 14 days by the Ministry of Health (MOH) due cleanliness standard violations.

In a closure notice shared on social media, the MOH mandated the coffeeshop to close from May 14 to 27.

The establishment was found to be in violation of Section 11 of the Food Act 1983 for insufficient cleanliness, posing a potential risk to public health.
