KUCHING, May 1: Sarawak has once again etched its name in history when one of its students, Chua Poh Hui, received an award for being among the top ten in Malaysia to score excellent results in her 2025 SPM examination.
According to St Joseph’s Private School’s Facebook post, Chua, who was a student at St Joseph’s Private Secondary School (SJPSS) Kuching, received the award from Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah in a ceremony at Istana Negara on April 29.
“We applaud her hard work, dedication and achievements throughout her years with us at SJPSS.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we wish her all the best in her future endeavours! God bless!” said the school.
It also added that Chua was the sole Sarawakian among the ten recipients. — DayakDaily
