KUCHING, Oct 26: Sarawakian boxer Kilat Boy has been crowned Asian champion of the Bantamweight category today during a match at the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) Championship in Bangkok.
According to a TVS news report, the Sarawak State Boxing Association mentioned that Kilat Boy, real name Daeloniel Mcdelon, knocked out his opponent Artid Bamrungauea from Thailand with a Technical Knockout (TKO) in the third round.
“Thank you for all your prayers”, wrote the association via the Sarawak State Boxing Association Facebook following Kilat Boy’s victory.
Before leaving for Bangkok last Tuesday, Kilat Boy, 24, born in Sri Aman, said he would use the tactics set by his coach to defeat his opponent.
