Sarawak welcomes future collaboration with Germany in multi-sector, including green technology

KUCHING, June 16: Sarawak hopes to collaborate with Germany especially in areas of green technology, health, water and waste management and digitalisation for a sustainable future.

Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg expressed this when receiving a courtesy call from the Ambassador of Germany to Malaysia Dr Peter Blomeyer in the former’s office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here this morning.

According to a statement, both leaders have discussed cooperation and opportunities that could be explored from economic, educational, tourism to health aspects of development between Sarawak and Germany.

The discussion also touched on the potentials of Sarawak in terms of future projects in green technology, infrastructure, health, water and waste management and digitalisation.
