KUCHING, Aug 4: Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg on the occasion of his 75th birthday.
In a post shared on the official Facebook page today, Tun Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Fauziah also prayed that the Premier will always be under the protection and grace of Allah SWT, and be blessed with good health, strength and wisdom to continue leading the State.
They expressed appreciation for Abang Johari’s leadership, describing it as one that has brought many positive changes to Sarawak, particularly in the areas of economic development, infrastructure, education, as well as green and digital technology.
“Abang Johari’s leadership is seen as firm yet inclusive, grounded in the spirit of unity and progress for all levels of society.
“We also commend his unwavering efforts in strengthening Sarawak’s position within the Federation through the struggle based on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), which has gained widespread recognition,” he said.
Tun Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Fauziah concluded their message with hopes that Abang Johari will continue to be granted strength and guidance in steering Sarawak towards becoming a developed, prosperous and united State for the benefit of present and future generations. – DayakDaily
