Sarawak sees zero positive Covid-19 today

KUCHING, July 9: Sarawak recorded zero positive cases of Covid-19 today.

The information was revealed by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement.


With no new positive Covid-19, SDMC said the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Sarawak stood at 573 cases.

The committee said there were five patients who are still receiving treatment at the isolation ward at the hospital.

SDMC said there were no recoveries and death cases being reported.

SDMC said there were 20 new cases of person-under-investigation (PUI) while seven PUI cases are awaiting laboratory test results.

On another note, the committee said there were 48 person-under-surveillance (PUS) who registered into hotels to undergo quarantine.

It added there are 560 PUS who are undergoing quarantine at 11 hotels throughout Sarawak while a total of 18,098 PUS have completed their quarantine today.—DayakDaily
