Sarawak sees zero Covid-19 cases today

KUCHING, Oct 2: Sarawak recorded zero positive cases of Covid-19 today.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement today said there were no positive Covid-19 cases detected in Sarawak.


With that, the committee said the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Sarawak remained at 713 cases.

It added that there were new recoveries whilst 12 patients were seeking treatment at the isolation wards in the hospitals.

SDMC said there were eight new cases of Person-Under-Investigation (PUI) while none awaiting laboratory test results.

The committee added that there were 92 Person-Under-Surveillance (PUS) who registered into hotels to undergo quarantine.

It noted that 940 PUS were undergoing quarantine at 12 hotels throughout Sarawak and a total of 24,755 PUS have completed their 14-day quarantine today. — DayakDaily
