KUCHING, May 25: Sarawak recorded four positive cases of Covid-19 today after zero positive case was reported in the last two days.
State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today said the cases were derived from Kuching, Serian, Bintulu and Tanjung Manis each.
As a result, the committee said Bintulu, Tanjung Manis and Serian have became yellow zones of Covid-19 with the new positive cases reported there.
At the same time, Serian, which was just declared as green zone less than 24 hours has turned back into yellow zone with the new positive case reported.
The committee noted there are five districts currently classified as yellow zone.
They are Kuching, Serian, Sibu, Tanjung Manis and Bintulu.
With the additional four cases, SDMC said the number of cumulative Covid-19 positive case has increased to 549 cases
Additionally, SDMC said there were 132 new cases of person-under investigation (PUI) with 117 PUI cases awaiting laboratory results.
It disclosed there were three Covid-19 patients who have recovered and discharged from hospitals today.
The committee revealed that two patients were from Sarawak General Hosptial (SGH) while one patient from Sibu Hospital. -DayakDaily
