Sarawak Premier receives three courtesy visits

KUCHING, Sept 22: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received three courtesy visits on Wednesday (Sept 21) at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.

According to the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the first courtesy visit was from the acting director of the Bukit Aman Special Branch Datuk Baharuddin Ahmad.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss security issues, particularly those relating to the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15), as well as the addition of polling centres to ensure the smooth operation of GE15.


Accompanying Baharuddin during the courtesy visit was State special branch chief Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Mohd Hairuddin Che Hamid.

Also present was the Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and Ukas) Datuk Abdullah Saidol.

Following that, Abang Johari received a courtesy visit from a delegation from Malaysia Building Society Berhad (MBSB) Bank, led by Tan Sri Azlan Zainol, and a delegation from JX Nippon Oil and Exploration (Malaysia) Limited. — DayakDaily
