BINTULU, Jan 29: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg continues his Chinese New Year (CNY) visits to several open houses in Bintulu today.
According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Abang Johari livened up the atmosphere on the eighth day of the festive celebration by visiting the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) open house at Bintulu Civic Centre.
There, he was warmly welcomed by the Federal Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture-cum-PDP president Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, as well as other top PDP members.
He also attended the Tanjong Batu Constituency Service Centre open house with Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) at Dinner World Restaurant.
Amongst those present were Sarawak Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom; Minister in the Premier’s Department Datuk John Sikie Tayai; Minister of Transport Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin; Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Julaihi Narawi; and Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki. — DayakDaily
