KUCHING, Nov 14: Sarawak Information Systems (SAINS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ant Group Digital Technologies to explore the development of mobile government leveraging innovative technologies from Ant Group Digital Technologies.
In a statement, SAINS plans to adopt solutions that meet its business objectives, including improving development efficiency, bringing more advanced features, and helping enhance mobile services’ stability, trustworthiness, and quality.
It added that mobile government is one of the key solutions for SAINS in helping the Sarawak government achieve its PCDS2030 and Sarawak Digital Economy Blueprint 2030.
“As 100 per cent end-to-end government services will be delivered by 2030, digital identity verification solutions will be key to ensure that the digital transactions can take place securely,” said the statement.
SAINS chief executive officer (CEO) Busiai Seman said he was excited to work with Ant Group Digital Technologies.
“We look forward to the collaboration with technology partners such as Ant Group Digital Technologies as they can provide the knowledge and expertise in mobile government and identity verification technologies to help SAINS meet its customers’ requirements,” he said.
To date, Ant Group Digital Technologies’ technology solutions have been adopted by various industries in Malaysia, including banking services, telecommunication, real estate, and medicine.
