KUCHING, Feb 2: The Sarawak Gerontology and Geriatrics Society (SGGS) will organise an ‘Active Aging Conference’ at Imperial Hotel here on March 16 and 17.

In view of this, SGGS president Denis Tan and the Conference’s organising chairperson Dunstan Chan led a delegation to pay a courtesy call on Deputy Premier of Sarawak Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian on Tuesday (Jan 30).

With the theme ‘Active Aging: Mind, Body, Spirit’, Tan said the conference will serve as an inspiring event that focuses on holistic aging, where experts and seniors and friends would converge to share insights and experiences.

ā€œWe are most grateful for the support and generous grant from Datuk Amar Dr Sim who also suggested to us on how and where to seek sponsorship for our event,ā€ Tan said in a statement recently.
