KUCHING, Oct 19: Sarawak Energy Berhad (Sarawak Energy) has announced 250 winners for the Quarter 3 (Q3) winners of its Lucky Draw Campaign for e-Bill subscribers.
Each of the winners for the lucky draw will receive a RM50 cash rebate to be credited to the winners’ electricity contract account.
The winners are randomly selected with an online balloting software and will be informed via their e-Bill subscription registered e-mail address. Customers may also refer to the Sarawak Energy website at www.sarawakenergy.com for the list of winners.
Ng Shou Fui, General Manager for Retail from Sarawak Energy’s utility arm, Syarikat Sesco Berhad, congratulated the winners and encouraged more customers to sign up for this paperless service. To date, a total of 65,659 customers have subscribed to the e-Bill service.
“Congratulations to the winners of our Q3 e-Bill lucky draw. In efforts to promote environmental sustainability, we are digitalising our bill statements to reduce the use of paper. To those who have signed up for e-Bill, thank you for your contribution towards our efforts in environmental sustainability,” said Ng.
She also said Sarawak Energy will continue to conduct more lucky draws to show appreciation to its e-Bill subscribers. Those who have won in the previous lucky draw sessions are still eligible to participate in the next round of the lucky draw, as long as they remain subscribed throughout the Go Paperless Campaign until Dec 31, 2021.
“Customers who subscribe to Sarawak Energy’s e-Billing service will receive a RM2 rebate in their monthly electricity bills for 12 months, effective from the billing period after the registration. We encourage customers who have yet to subscribe to e-Bill services to do so for more chances to win the cash rebate,” Ng continued.
To register, customers may perform self-registration via the ‘SEB cares’ mobile application (available in App Store and Google Play) or website at www.sarawakenergy.com. They may also call 1-300-88-3111, email customercare@sarawakenergy.com, or approach the nearest Sarawak Energy customer service counters by providing their name, electricity contract account number, e-mail address and mobile phone number.
