Sarawak election: PBK announces 10 potential candidates for seats in Simanggang, Betong Divisions

KUCHING, Nov 16: Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) has announced 10 potential candidates to be fielded in seats in the Simanggang and Betong Divisions for the upcoming 12th Sarawak Election (PRN12).

They are Jackie Chiew for Beting Maro, Kasim Mana for Balai Ringin, Marcus Kayong for Bukit Begunan, Peli Aron for Simanggang, Stel Datu for Engkilili, Usup Asun for Batang Ai, Julias Leman for Saribas, Linang Chapum for Kalaka, Kuan San Sui for Krian and Mohammad Asri Kassim for Kabong.

PBK Simanggang and Betong Divisions chairman Peli Aron said the party is still looking for a new candidate for Layar following the untimely demise of its potential candidate Ges Berundang.


“PBK has to fill the seats in Layar and Bukit Saban.

“PBK is calling (for) suitable Sarawakians to fill the seats as candidates,” he said in a statement today.

Peli who is also the candidate for the Simanggang seat said the party is eyeing to win a majority of seats in the 82 seats available for contest during PRN12.

He believed the political party has strong strategies to win PRN12. — DayakDaily
