KUCHING, Oct 27:  Two of the Sarawak Club members have recently been confirmed of being Covid-19 positive.

In a notice to its members today, the Club’s Management said it is not known when or where exactly the duo were infected.

“However, they have been to the Club premises in the last seven days,” said the Management.

The Management pointed out that it has put in place standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) where good hygiene and best practices are always a priority.

“We will continue to carry out daily sanitising in all our outlets and facilities to safeguard everyone’s health.

“We are ready to assist the authorities with contact tracing should it be required.

“The Sarawak Club remains open in the meantime with the SOPs in place,” said the Management.

The Management also promised to keep its members updated with the facts and verified news as and when it can.

It is seeking the assistance from all members to not spread unverified news which can unnecessarily and adversely affect the Club. — DayakDaily
