KUCHING, April 24: Sarawak has gained traction as a second home destination for foreigners, as highlighted by Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) councillor Amy Tnay Li Ping at the Jiangxi International Academic Conference in China.
According to a press release, Tnay delivered a speech titled ‘New Opportunities in the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Malaysia and China: A Hidden and Unblemished Land Yet to be Discovered—Sarawak’ at the Jiangxi Academic Conference, commemorating Malaysia and China’s 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The press release said several hundred entrepreneurs, professors, principals, consultants, and experts from various fields attended the conference.
Among others, Tnay highlight Sarawak’s healthcare and affordable aged care services as well as high-quality and affordable international education.
Tnay, who also serves as the executive director of Barisan Tunggal MM2H Sdn Bhd, has been invited to travel extensively, particularly across China, to promote ‘Sarawak, my second home’.
Meanwhile, Tnay also expressed hope in the press release that the relevant departments will provide full support to improve progress and speed up the processing of each application.
She reiterated the need for a prompt review and approval process, allowing foreigners who appreciate Sarawak to visit and experience the stunning ‘Land of the Hornbills’. — DayakDaily
