PUSA, Nov 5: The Sarawak government has allocated RM15 million to provide free tuition for Form Three and Form Five students through the Sarawak Education Enhancement Programme (SEEP).
In a news report by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), Minister for Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Sarawak Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn said the programme offers tuition for core subjects and those in the science streams through face-to-face and virtual methods.
“The goal of the initiative is to help our students improve their academic achievements,” he said during the SEEP opening ceremony at SMK Beladin on Monday (Nov 4).
Meanwhile, Sagah also said that the establishment of the Yayasan Sarawak International School is to provide quality education to students in the State.
Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Sarawak Datuk Francis Harden Hollis and Beting Maro assemblyman Razaili Gapor were also present. — DayakDaily
